Brunchin in the Lower East Side
Sip coffee and mimosas, and people watch at this Lower East Side restaurant. They open at 9:00am and on the weekends, the brunch crowd start to get busy around noon, but Dudley's is worth it.
The restaurant aims to give you Australian bistro vibes. It isn't a huge space but it's comfortable. There is outdoor seating for when the weather is nice and also bar seating. If you didn't come to play, then the Big Brekkie is for you. You'll get two eggs any style, mushrooms, grilled halloumi cheese, avocado, roasted tomatoes, arugula, and bacon. (This can be ordered everyday of the week until 4:00pm). For the veggie lovers, enjoy a side of the broccolini. It's slightly crunchy and seasoned with garlic, chili, and lemon, and is delicious. The brussel sprouts are also another tasty option. Got a sweet tooth? Try the Ricotta Hot Cakes. Fluffy pancakes topped with honeycomb butter and fruit; served with a side of Nutella and maple syrup. The espresso martini must also be ordered and tried..maybe twice.
Dudley's is also open for dinner, serving burgers, pastas, and salads. The Lamb Pappardelle is a menu favorite. Tomato, Grana Padano cheese, burrata, and slow roasted lamb shoulder over pasta is a dish worth visiting again for.
