Hard Rock: The Place to Casino Dine
Whether you’re someone who always wins big or just enjoys the lively energy of the casino, Atlantic City has always been a mini getaway for the Tri-State area. A short bus ride from Port Authority or a road trip down I-95 will lead you straight to the Boardwalk. Here you’ll find shopping, entertainment, and plenty of dining options. Located inside the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino is an Asian street food inspired restaurant named Youyu Noodle Bar.
The ambiance is simple. What appears to be Wagasa umbrellas delicately hang on the walls with U-shaped booths in the back. The menu is one page fitting everything from their soups to desserts. Although we didn’t personally try any of the noodle dishes, a group across from our table said the noodles were very delicious (and it looked tasty too). We ordered the Three Cup Chicken, which is served Taiwanese-style, and prepared with basil and ginger. It is accompanied by a heaping bowl of jasmine rice. Another must-try is the Shanghai Soup Dumplings. Enough to share or greedily eat all five alone. All portions at the Youyu Noodle Bar were filling and reasonable priced under $20. So you can save your coins for the casino.
Looking to splurge? There is a separate VIP Lounge Menu featuring pricier items such as the Cold Dungeness Crab and Mandarin Duck.
